Privacy policy

Last updated September 4, 2026. This is a short MVP policy for septischedule.com, not a law-firm memo.

What we collect

On the homeowner quote form we ask for name, phone, email, ZIP, service needed, optional notes, and consent. On the operator waitlist we ask for business name, contact name, email, phone, counties, and truck capacity. We also receive standard server logs (IP, user agent, time) from the host.

Why

ZIP exists so we can route jobs to local pumpers later. Contact details exist so a person can follow up. We do not run ad pixels on this MVP. We do not sell lists as a standalone product in this version of the site.

Where it lives

Submissions are written to a JSON file on the server (or /tmp if the data directory is not writable) and printed to application logs. If we later enable Resend or Formspree, the same fields would be emailed to the address in LEADS_NOTIFY_EMAIL. Treat that mailbox as confidential.

Sharing

When matching works, we will share relevant job details with licensed operators who cover that ZIP. We will not blast your phone to an unbounded list. Operators on the waitlist are not given homeowner leads until matching exists.

Retention and your requests

Email privacy@septischedule.com (placeholder) to ask us to delete or correct a submission. We will add a real mailbox when the domain is live.

Children

This site is for adults arranging property maintenance.
